"My daughter, Ellie started at Elenas Family Daycare at just 9months old as I was returning to work. I felt all of the emotions - apprehensive, scared, nervous, anxious and questioning all of my decisions.
We walked into Elenas and immediately felt reassured, nurtured and cared for. Not just Ellie but for myself too. Being a single mum I needed to trust and feel comfortable with who I was leaving Ellie with. Elena eased all of my concerns including Ellie not sleeping in a cot and being breastfed. I don't know how Elena did it but Ellie slept in a cot and took a bottle from day one!
Elena has such a kind and genuine heart and truly loves her role as an educator. I knew we had chosen the right family daycare educator for us.
Being in early childhood education myself - I see how much energy, effort and care Elena takes with her indoor and outdoor environments, her play experience set up, her intentional teaching and just the love beaming from her with her interactions with all of the children and parents.
